Welcome to 'The North Face' Meribel Store.

The North Face Meribel store has 200 square metres of retail space divided into two levels and enjoys a prime location in Meribel centre. The retail shop is managed in partnership with 'The North Face', the technical clothing company, offering you the highest level of comfort, performance and protection for both clothes and accessories.

Rental Specialist

We specialise in renting the latest top quality equipment. Fitting and servicing is performed by well-trained individuals in order to get the most accurate and effective equipment correctly sized for each person. Each year new equipment is available with a wide range of different styles and models at every level. It is also possible to change equipment during your stay in order to test the latest new arrivals in something different to what you're used to if the desire emerges.

International welcome

Our staff are knowledgeable, experienced, professional and friendly and are a mix of French and English native speakers. All this means we offer you a level of service which is way out there above anything else anywhere in Meribel.

Snowdescent is more than a ski and snowboard school. With us you can experience the mountains and nature in a variety of other ways. You can discover the forests around Meribel and Courchevel on snowshoes or on cross country skis. We can organise a night off-piste in a mountain refuge, or for the adventurous, we can arrange heli-skiing!

CHALET FITTING OR SHOP?

Other shops tell you their chalet fitting service brings the shop to you but that's just not possible! No mobile service can offer the full range of equipment, choice, expertise and advice which you will find in a properly staffed and equipped shop. Chalet fitting is a good option for some people but it's not ideal choice for everyone. And remember, if chalet fitting isn't right for you, we have courtesy transport to bring you to the shop...
